Manager (APAC) – Global Technology Recruiting Team, RED HAT


Andrew is a highly experienced senior recruiter and recruitment manager, currently leading Red Hat’s Asia Pacific (APAC) technology recruitment team. He has a background in HR and holds a degree in Human Resource Management.

Andrew oversees a team of seven recruiters based across Red Hat’s four APAC R&D locations (Bangalore, Beijing, Brisbane, Pune). In addition to managing the team, he is implementing Red Hat’s recruitment strategy in APAC, focusing on: competency based interviewing, predictive analytics and forecasting, consultancy skills and team development.

Andrew has responsibly for end-to-end recruitment of all product and technology hiring for Red Hat in APAC, with direct reports who are assigned to both Global Delivery and Global Advisory recruitment teams. Working closely with Red Hat’s Global Delivery lead, Andrew supports the execution of Red Hat’s sourcing strategy in APAC. Two major focus areas for APAC sourcing are creating candidate pipeline through events hiring and social media. Andrew enjoys helping his team find new untapped sources, and in particular enjoys unravelling the ever-changing hiring landscape in China. In his spare time Andrew is learning Chinese, but he is yet to make a hire on WeChat.

Andrew is the primary recruiter for Red Hat’s Brisbane based positions, and also hires for senior technical positions in China, India, Japan, Korea, New Zealand and Singapore.
