Advisor // Director


Candace is an experienced CEO, Advisor and Director in the technology sector. She is the founder of the national Women Tech Execs group representing female executives in the industry in New Zealand and is passionate about encouraging women of all ages and backgrounds to pursue a career in technology.

Candace is currently an advisor for Palantir Technologies and a non-executive director for NZX listed company ERoad, global tech recruitment firm Talent International and for McCashin’s Brewery.  Previously, she was the CEO of NZTech, the tech sector’s representative group; prior to that, she was the CEO of Biomatters, a leading global scientific software company headquartered in New Zealand with subsidiary offices in the USA.

Candace is on the advisory boards for the University of Waikato Cyber Security Lab and Massey University School of Business, a Chapter Director for the Cloud Security Alliance, on the selection panel for the Government ICT Graduate School program and a Trustee for the Well Foundation, supporting North Shore and Waitemata Hospitals.

Candace has undergraduate degrees in Anthropology and Political Science from the University of Hawaii, Post Graduate and Masters degrees in Business Management and International Business from Massey University.  Candace has completed advanced business studies in Bio-Pharma from Rutgers University and further post-graduate studies in Asian Business Governance from Melbourne University.
