Head of People and Culture, Odecee

Liz is the proud Co-owner and Director of dynamic start-ups ‘The Culture Archaeologists’ and ‘The Talent Archaeologists’. Liz is also the Head of People and Culture with ‘Odecee – A Cognizant Company’.

Liz established Odecee’s People and Culture function in 2011.  Together with her People and Culture team, she has continuously developed the culture and people practices of Odecee to meet the needs of the business and its Tier1 clients.  Team ‘od’ have grown by almost 600% since Liz’s commencement, they maintain their sky high standards of recruiting only the ‘best of the best’ technical consultants in Digital and DevOps.  Odecee are as well known for their inclusive, friendly and supportive culture as they are for their technical delivery chops – by design.

Odecee achieved rankings of 22nd and 23rd ‘Best Place to Work’ in Australia, and was the only IT consultancy in the Top 25, in the Great Place to Work Award in 2015 and 2016 respectively.  Managing through an acquisition has made this achievement all the more significant.  Odecee was acquired by global tech giant, Cognizant Technology Solutions, late in 2014.

Liz holds a Degree in Accounting, Diploma of Project Management and Post-graduate qualifications in Human Resources and Industrial Relations.  Liz was recently named as a Victorian Finalist in the Australian Institute of Management’s (Leader/ Manager) Leadership Excellence Awards.

Liz is a proud introvert and is a passionate advocate for authentic leadership, values driven decision-making and inclusivity.  She relishes working with courageous organisations who are genuine about change and innovation.  She likes nothing more than digging deep to uncover and pragmatically deal with the issues that impede ‘people first’ cultures.  Liz also enjoys the joy that comes from changing people’s lives through helping individuals join and be retained by the right team for them.
