FOUNDER / SOCIAL INNOVATION SYDNEY
With extensive experience in senior executive roles for diverse organisations such as GE, AMP, Westfield and State Government she is currently working on big data, strategic business intelligence and data governance at UNSW Australia. Kate has also lectured in postgraduate business and accounting at Macquarie University and taught TAFE level courses in business and management. She is currently an Adjunct Senior Lecturer in the School of Computer Science & Engineering at UNSW Australia.
She is co-founder of several startups including Social Innovation Sydney.
Kate sometimes feels like being a revolutionary cat.
She is a long standing member of the Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers and was a Senior Member of the Australian Computer Society. She was on the Advisory Board for the Faculty of Informatics at theUniversity of Wollongong for a number of years before joining UNSW Australia.
